Kurt and Rebecca

Congrats to the new and stunning Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Bowman! Rebecca and Kurt got hitched this past Saturday at the beautiful St. Mary's Church in historic German Village followed by a reception at the Crown Plaza downtown.

Rebecca's father actually walked her down the aisle, then turned around and officiated a beautiful ceremony. The church was still decorated for Christmas with hundreds of poinsettias, twinkling white lights and greenery.

I first met Rebecca just about a year ago at the bridal show at Vet's Memorial when she stopped by my booth with her sister, and maid of honor, Michelle. She and Kurt then met with me the following week and I knew that it would be a great fit! It was SOO much fun being with both of them and their families and friends all day for their wedding. We got so lucky with the warm spell of spring-like weather. It wasn't until after the ceremony when we took a quick jaunt through downtown and the Short North that the wind really picked up. No matter to Rebecca though—she was all smiles the whole time. The wind ended up working for us and made for some great pics—check em out:

And we can't forget about the details and bridal bling...check out these shoes and the wrap on Rebecca's bouquet—

And I haven't yet had a chance to go through many of the reception pictures, but when I ran across this one of Rebecca and her father, I had to post it. It's already one of my favorites.

Thanks again to both Rebecca and Kurt, their awesome wedding party and great families—you were all so much fun to be around and made my job so much fun! I'm looking forward to getting through the rest of your pics in a few weeks or so.

The Sanford Family

Karen and Mike are another great couple whom I met through mutual friends at the ad agency, GSW, where I used to work. It was a beautiful morning at Highbanks MetroPark and little Owen was full of smiles!

The Rankin Family

I've been dying to post these pictures for quite some time now—as this is the third time this year that I have had the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous and FUN family. Wendi and I met at the ad agency where I worked prior to going full time with my photography business. So, here's a peek at a few of my favorite pics from the most recent shoot at Franklin Park Conservatory in September.

And how can you not love these cute chubby little legs?!

And these sparkly blue eyes!

A moment with little Peyton Rose and Mama...

...and just a few months prior when she was just a wee itty bitty lil' newbie!

Thanks so much to Wendi, Steve, Riley, Jake and lil' Peyton Rose! As always, I had a great time with all of you and hope to see you again soon!

The Mlicki Family

Well a little chill and rainy drizzle certainly didn't damper the day—meet the Mlickis. What a great family! I met them through a referral from one of my brides, Tiffanni Pirwitz (whose wedding I'm so excited to shoot on New Year's Eve!) Thanks so much Tiffanni! I think we got some great shots—especially of little Callie. Check out those curls and bright baby blues! Here are some of my favorites.

The Fischer Family

It's no wonder why fall is such a busy time for family photos—the colors just make for such beautiful images. I photographed the Fischer family at their home in New Albany and just down the road at a nearby park in their neighborhood.

Such a sweet family and such handsome little boys! Thanks again Susan—was great meeting and photographing your beautiful family!

Let Blogapalooza 2008 Begin!

Ok, in an effort to catch up and make up for my lack of posting for the past month, I am going to post a handful of some of my favorite family and children's photo shoots of the past summer and fall.

To start, please let me introduce the Caldwell family.

Nicole and I met through a mutual friend—and I'm so glad we did. What a beautiful family!

June — 6th

July — 18th

August — 1st, 8th and 29th
