Well, I rounded out the holiday wedding week by photographing another fabulous winter wedding for the new Mr. and Mrs. Derek Purvis.
Laura and Derek have been dating for about 7 years I believe—so this big day was a long awaited one!
Laura was absolutely GORGEOUS, and as you can see, has the most beautiful porcelain skin—I could have
spent all day doing pictures—but we sort of had a wedding to tend to!
Derek plays hockey, and I'm pretty sure he had most of his team there with him cheering him on as he tied the knot—a fun (albeit rowdy!) crowd to have at the reception.

WOW Kim, it looks like you had a very successful year in 2008 and I do not think I could just narrow down ONE wedding that could be my "favorite." You have done marvelous work and I mean that 110%!!!
I am typically not a huge "Christmas Time" wedding fan, but this last event you shot "Laura and Derek", is nothing less than beautiful! Out of the few shots you posted on here, the cake in front of the tree and the photo of the bride and her gals with the blue door are my favorite! What a pretty bride and I LOVE her taste!
Anyway, kudos to you for having a great year and I hope 2009 has even more in store for you. I am so excited and anxious to see more!
