Mark and Jessica's Wedding

What a perfect day it was last Saturday as Jessica and Mark tied the knot at St. Brendan's in Dublin, and celebrated with a beautiful reception at the East Golf Club in New Albany. I know that Jessica and mark are anxiously awaiting this post to get a sneak peek at their pictures before they head out for their honeymoon on Monday...so here are the first of many more to come!

First, the beautiful bride! Jessica, I loooved your hair!

I just loved the fun expressions on their faces as her father was getting ready to walk her down the aisle! It's bound to be a great day...

I think we have a heartbreaker here...

The club was beautiful! Here's a peek at the party that was going on inside all night...

This group of guys certainly looked like they were up to something...and something good!

And i loved this idea for the little ones...the teddy bear toss! Such a cute idea!

Thanks again to Jessica and Mark for trusting me with documenting your day! I am so glad that you did — and it was so good to see so many old family friends! have a great holiday weekend and a WONDERFUL honeymoon!

Meagan and Matt's Beautiful Day

Congratulations Meagan and Matt Groom! First of all, I have to say how absolutely sweet these two are. I got to know Meagan at my ad agency job just prior to going full time with my photography studio. Meagan booked me pretty early on and I'm so glad that she did. She and Matt ,as well as all of their friends and family that I have been able to meet so far have just been such a wonderful group to be around.

Here are a couple shots before the ceremony. There was this really cool old Wurlitzer piano in the basement of the church where the girls were getting ready.

And the sun and heat was out in full force...thought this quick pic of the guys was pretty fitting of the day.

The day was full of emotions to be sure. If you were able to zoom in on this picture, you would surely see the crocodile tears welling up in Matt's eyes as Meagan walked down the aisle with her dad.

Here are a handful of my favorite pics that I wanted to share. It was hard to narrow them down.
The reception was at the beautiful Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin and we made a stop over at The Corazon Club for some quick pics with the cool architecture and textures.

Meagan and Matt had a slide show that was projected on the ceiling of the tent—definitely was a hit and brought on a lot of laughs and smiles.

I'll wrap up this post with a couple of the cake. It was beautiful...and HUGE. I don't think these pictures really show quite how big it was. And the detailing of the sugar flowers was amazing.

What a beautiful day for two beautiful people. Congrats.

Andie and Ryan's Big Day!

Congratulations to the newly wedded Mr. and Mrs. Bohardt! Andie and Ryan tied the knot at the picturesque St. Joseph's Cathedral downtown (one of my all time favorite ceremony spots I must say) I just love the way the natural light floods in and fills the place so softly.

We got SOO many great shots throughout the day—including the images here from this little hidden water fall spot (which is now becoming a new favorite among the couples I've met and photographed)

And in no particular order, here are a few more of my favorite images so far (and i haven't even gotten to the reception yet)

Well thanks so much to Andie and Ryan for choosing me to capture their big day! There are a lot more great images where these came from so stay tuned in the next few weeks for the rest of them on Pictage.

Whitney and Paul Say "We Do!"

So after a few weeks without a post, I've finally made some time to catch up on some much needed blog updates! I've been busy busy busy perfecting the thousands of new wedding and engagement pics from the past few weeks. First, please let me introduce the newly wed Whitney and Paul Aebker who tied the knot on June 12 at the Golf Club of Dublin. This was my first time shooting here and i LOVED it! Such a beautiful place with gorgeous surroundings.

Congrats and thank you to Whitney and Paul. Enjoy your sneak peek at a few of my quick favorites from the day!

Erin and Adam's Wedding

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for Erin and Adam's wedding at Park of Roses in Clintonville which was in peak full bloom. Congrats to the both of them! The setting was amazing and very fairy tale-esque.

We got so many great shots throughout the day, but here are just a handful of some of my favorites:

And this poor little guy just couldn't quite make it through lunch! Zonked OUT!

Greta and Gokhan

Greta Berger and Gokhan Dirsil tied the knot this past Sunday at the Krippendorf Lodge which is nestled in the woods of the beautiful Cincinnati Nature Conservancy.

There are SO many interesting things to share about this wedding—the incredible details for starters, all designed and created by the bride, who happens to be a design director by profession. No detail was overlooked and it was hard for me to narrow down which ones I was going to post on my blog—because there were so many!

The lodge itself is just a perfect balance of rustic and chic—or maybe it's the way Greta and Gokhan had the place transformed with decor and lighting. Regardless, the environment was gorgeous—and so was this couple! Such a uniquely stylish wedding party.

Gokhan is from Turkey, and so it was so cool to see how they incorporated a taste of home into their celebration with favors of homemade turkish baklava, a ceremonial reading in both Turkish and English, and a surprise belly dancer performance at the reception! Not a bad way to spice things up!

Congrats to both of you! And thank you so much for choosing me to capture all of the details and emotion of your wedding day. Christy and I had such a fun time with both of you and all your family and friends. What a great group of people and wonderful energy and atmosphere.

Stacy and Chad's Wedding!

Congrats to the newly hitched Stacy Sargent and Chad Schroeder! They tied the knot at the beautiful Swasey Chapel in Granville and partied the night away later on at the historic Columbus Athenaeum downtown. Stacy didn't leave a single detail unaccounted for and everything looked amazing! I especially loved the color scheme of black and white with kelly green accents—the groomsmen's ties looked especially sharp. Definitely a very well-dressed wedding party!

Well onto the part that you're really interested—the pics! Here are just a few that caught my eye during my initial edit.

I loooved her dress, and the detailing was gorgeous!

And I love the simplicity of this shot. While a bit of a traditional bridal portrait, I think it captures a sort of timeless glamour that will never look out of style—Stacy you looked stunning!

And not to upstage the new bride and groom, but this couple got a bit of attention themselves—they were so cute!

Thanks again so very much to Stacy and Chad for choosing me to document your day! I had a great time and hope that you enjoy your sneak peek! Congrats congrats!

Danni and Mark's Engagement Session

The upside to all this rain is the lush greenery and gushing waterfall...wait, waterfalls here in Columbus? If you can believe it, this little known secluded gem is just steps away from a major 4-lane road and Tuttle Mall. Yet, when you're down in the gorge all the sounds of the surrounding city are completely muffled. Great day for a shoot too—we managed to dodge the scattered showers yesterday.

Danni and Mark met in their ROTC program in college - and found me through the Columbus Bride Magazine and I'm so glad they did. What a sweet couple. Thanks Danni and Mark! I hope that you enjoy your sneak peek!
