Thailand

Hello friends, family, future and current brides and grooms! I was so busy wrapping up work before I left for my 3-week tour through Thailand and Laos (which has been LOVELY!) that I forgot to leave on a message on my blog. I will be unavailable for the most part until December 19h to tend to any order or booking requests. I will be doing my best to respond to all of my voicemails and emails within a week from when I return. The trip has been amaaaazing thusfar and a much needed break and rejuvenation, not to mention some incredible visual inspiration. Oh how I would LOVE to shoot a wedding here! Ok, greetings from Thailand and I will be in touch as soon as I can upon my arrival back to the states. Thanks!

Hillary and Greg

Please let me begin this post by saying that I loved everything about this wedding. I mean everything. The flowers and detail decor were amazing. Hillary's dress was even more amazing (Maggie Sottero). Not to mention the yummy Sunday brunch followed by their incredible cake. It was a piece of art. But above all these beautiful things that went into this perfect day were the people of course. Starting with Hillary and Greg. Really and truly such a beautiful couple inside and out. They're the kind of people that just make you feel good to be around.

Ok, so on with the part that you really care about —the pics! I had such a hard time narrowing down just a few to post to give just a sneak peek at their beautiful gallery of images we got from this perfect day!

I just LOVED these flowers. This bouquet requires 2 images because I really wanted to show the cool ribbon and leaf detail underneath. I've never seen a bouquet done like this. I need to ask Hillary again for the name of her florist.

An absolutely gorgeous bride.

and the groom's not too shabby either
:)

Thank you so much to both of you and your families. DeeAnne and I had such a wonderful time and as always, I'm so thankful that you chose me to photograph your engagement and wedding day. Can't wait for you to see the rest of the images!

Seth's Senior Pics

This shoot was an especially fun one for me, as Seth lives next door to my brother and niece and nephew. He's pretty much grown up with them over the past 6 years or so, and they just look up to and love him so much. For that matter, the entire Dunne family. I was definitely honored to do this. Thanks Cheryl!

I was so glad to have Seth's girlfriend, Rachel, along for the shoot. I couldn't resist getting some of the two of them. Ahhh, young love! Aren't they just adorable together? This just makes me smile.

Rachel is just so sweet—and beautiful. I just love this pic.

Personal work? What's that?

Ha haa...well just thought I would take a quick moment to post a couple pics I took last week while at a photography conference in New Orleans. Definitely a visually stimulating place. Enjoy!

A couple pics from the newly renovated open air market in the heart of NOLA.

So I supposed this is my "signature door shot". I've got several pics similar to this from all over the world. Kinda cool I suppose.

Brieanne and Justin - Engagement Shoot

Slowly but surely I am getting caught up. Whew.12 days and counting until I leave for a 3-week getaway to R&R&R&R (rest, relax, recuperate and recharge!) By the time I get back it will be Christmas and then almost time to hit the ground running again for a pretty busy winter wedding season!
:)

In the meantime, I'll keep editing photos, designing albums and blogging away with all the fab couples I am so fortunate to photograph. Brieanne and Justin being one of those! They're getting married out at the Bob Evan's Farms property in Gallipolis next year. If you aren't familiar, it's really beautiful. I actually did a story on it back in college for our local magazine. These two are very easy and fun to be around and I'm really looking forward to their wedding!

And ya know when you look at a couple that just seems to "go together"? That's how I see Brieanne and Justin. They're just so cute together and seem to be a perfect match inside and out.

Thanks so much you guys for choosing me—I know you said you considered a lot of other photographers when making your decision, so I'm honored to have made the cut!
Enjoy your pics and I'll have the rest up on Pictage before I leave for my trip. Thanks again!

Suzanne and Kenny - Engagement Session

A much belated post of yet another super cute couple, Suzanne Korner and Kenny Brown.
They're having their wedding next year at the Ohio Union and I'm so excited to have an opportunity to shoot at this amazing brand new venue! Thanks again both of you for choosing me to photograph your big day. It's going to be great.
:)

Brianna and Steven - Engagement Session

As I continue to look back on all the shoots I've done and add more blog posts, I'm reminded of how lucky and blessed I am to be doing this for a living. I have the best clients. Really. So I just wanted to say thanks so much to all of you (you know who you are!) for continuing to trust me with documenting the most important times in your life! Thank you for allowing me to pursue and dedicate my life to something that I really and truly love to do.

With that said, here are some more of my favorite images from another fun shoot I did in September with Brianna and Steven over at Easton on a perfect Sunday afternoon. Have I mentioned how much I love fall too? Ok, enjoy the pics!

Becky and Justin's Engagement Session

Well it seems that I am finally getting on a roll with blog posts again. So nice to finally start getting caught up! Thanks so much to ALL of my wonderful and patient clients!

Becky and Justin are actually high school sweethearts and are tying the knot next summer. I met them through another couple that I was lucky enough to photograph this past New Year's Eve, Tiffanni and Judd Ballard. That was definitely a very fun-filled wedding as well. Anyhow, onto the pics! Here's just a small handful of the dozens of gorgeous images that we got from the session. Thanks you guys!
